No.
Oh, sorry, that was my response to your title only.
Any home waxing has been no bueno for me - not painful, but just not effective.
I've had my legs done at a spa, and it didn't hurt much, but also, again, was not very effective. The hair had to grow out more than I want to ever see, and it took for-freaking-ever with not super smooth results, and it was expensive.
I'll pay for my brazillian all day long, but will keep shaving my legs.
I've waxed at home for decades, but I would really recommend having done professionally before you try it yourself. One, you need to watch how the apply the wax and, more importantly, how they pull the strips off. Do it the wrong way and all the wax (and hair) stays on your leg. Proper technique is vital to success. And two, can you take the pain? It's going to hurt, and some people can't do that to themselves.

My experience with Nads was hands down one of the most painful of my life. I actually had to call my sister to come over and help me get the rest off. I still have nightmares.

Maybe the Nads strips are better. The kind I foolishly used was in a jar. It was supposed to sort of roll off between your fingers like silly putty. Supposed to being the key word. I had globs of cold, hard Nads all over me. No. And no.

What is this stuff? Like a wax? I always thought it was a depilatory cream or something.
It is like cold wax created by the devil herself, and her evil spawn. Fuck you NADs.

When Nads first came out it was in a jar. It was a thick green goo type substance that you were supposed to warm, spread and roll off with your fingers. IT DOES NOT WORK LIKE THAT!
I have the wax warmer for Sally beauty supply.. I got the at home kit... I use tea tree infused wax, heat it up in the warmer.. Put an old dirty sheet on the kitchen island (away from my curious dog...) use tongue depressors to spread the wax and strips I get in rolls for cheap at walmart, I cute them before I start.
Trick for not getting wax everywhere is to sprain the stick in your hand as your moving it from to tin of wax to your keg, the apply from mid shin down in a thin ish layer, I do three strips worth then wax ... Repeat..
