If I want to go try on boots, what stores?

I live in a major urban area, with access to the usual stores. Where can I go to try on boots?

Also, I feel I should point out that I am currently wearing pants that cost $8 at Walmart, a tee that I bought used on eBay, and a cardigan that I picked up while taking my elderly mom shopping at target.

And I wore this exact same outfit for class last week.

I have zero fashion sense and count on you guys to point me in the right direction. So be nice.

I really do try not to be deliberately cruel on here. You, otoh,seem  to take a special pleasure in unkindness.

Try choosing to be helpful and positive for a change. You'll find that life is much more pleasant when you do!

If you want to look at all the boots than go to a mall and check out the footwear stores plus the shoe section of the department stores.
If you're cheap like me than start at consignment shops, TJ Max/ Ross/ Marshalls and than work your way up to Nordstroms Rack . This method requires a whole kid free day, patience, and lots of coffee.

Remember to wear the style of socks and pants you'll want to wear with the boots.
