Yes. They are good for very small infants but I prefer the bulb suction thing you get free from the hospital. You'll get a lot of votes one way or the other. Both work but I think the bulb has more "power." and I still use it on my 3 year old.
Um, so, as I kid I used to play with this ALL.THE.TIME (I was about 4 1/2 and I had a baby sister).
I loved the feeling of the air coming out and hitting my face.
It was until I was older I learned what it was for. Omg, mom. Thanks for never stopping me from playing with something so disgusting.
We have one, but we haven't had much luck with it. We didn't have luck with the bulb, either, though.
did you use the one from the hospital? They have magical bulbs. I don't know why, but they are softer and suckier than any of the ones you can buy in the store. I have a collection of bulbs trying to find ones like the hospital and they all fail.
Yes! It's sooo weird. We lost the hospital one and bought more but they never were the same. Not even close.

We have the Hydrasense one, and it's pretty darn effective. No snot air. Filters. All the parts come apart to wash. Not nearly as gross as I expected - and really, less gross than snot dripping out of a kid's nose or snot bubbles when they try and breathe (gag).
