So if you need to wear glasses or contacts, do you wear prefer one over the other or alternate between the 2? Hubby just got glasses and texted me a pic and wow does he look different. He prefers glasses over contacts. Me I prefer contacts but I alternate between the two because I am down to my last pair of disposable contacts. I need to go in and get checked and get another order. Oh well.

I used to wear only contacts, but the last few months I've been wearing my glasses every single day. It's gotten to the point where working on the computer all day long hurts my eyes and glasses seem to make that better. I wear contacts sometimes when we go out, or if I'm going for a run.
My hubby only wears his glasses for a few things, but I think they are so sexy!
I have both but I rarely wear my glasses. I have bee told that I look better in them but I prefer contacts especially with my job.
I manager a frozen food dept. for a large grocery chain. Go in and out of freezers all day makes my glasses fog up and hard to see. Plus I do a lot of lifting and moving so they get bumped around.

Contacts most of the time. I might wear my glasses in public a couple times a month. I wear glasses at night if I take my contacts out early in the evening which isn't very often.

I wear both, but I wear my contacts a lot more often. I have super bad dry eye problems and I can't sleep in contacts at all, so it's out with the contacts and on with the glasses every night. I'm jealous of people who can sleep in them. I'd love to be able to see the clock when I wake up.
I basically wear contacts, because I don't like how the world looks through glasses. I mainly wear them when I'm getting ready for bed or when I get up first thing. Very rarely do I wear them during the day and its usually if my contacts have torn or something.
I wish I could sleep in mine ( I can't), so I wear a watch to bed so I can tell what time it is if I wake up in the middle of the night.

As much as I hate NEEDING glasses, I love the look. I wear them much more often than contacts. Sometimes, the heavy plastic frames I prefer just aren't well suited to my activities.
Glasses. I have an astigmatism and was never able to wear contacts (2 hours max).
I had lasik done when I was 29 to correct my near-sightedness. I was glasses free for nearly 10 years with 20/15 vision.
When I was 39ish I started to need glasses to read or while I was on the computer. This past January my eye doctor suggested no-line bifocals for me. I haven't been able to get used to them. They make me nauseous. +o( so I just wear my old reading glasses for now.
I alternate. I used to wear my contacts almost exclusively during the day. When I would get home from work, I would switch to glasses. Now, I think I mainly wear glasses, but it depends on what I'm doing. Swimming - contacts. Switching between needing to see far and then close (ex. looking at an overhead and then at my notebook during professional development) - glasses.
I had to increase the prescription last checkup, and it's the first time I've ever experienced not being able to see up close with my contacts in. It sucks, so that's why I've been wearing my glasses more frequently. I bought some reading glasses to use with my contacts, and that works, but I always forget to take them with me if I leave the house. And if I'm just in the house, it's easier to just wear the contacts.
