My BFF asked if we are doing this. In the past I've gotten things "from" babies in the family - think calendar with family pictures, cute homemade something (obviously made by mom), etc.
Are you doing this? Seems like it may be more effort than I'm willing to put in, lol.
My kids make something for grandparents/ great grandparents and I've done that since they were born. It's usually something with their handprint. This year I'm doing the handprint Santa ornaments and I'll have each kid, including the baby make one
My dd and niece jointly gave my mom a pink rhinestone ball charm for her pandora bracelet. My niece is really a step and she was excited to give something to grandma w her cousin. I wouldn't have done it otherwise and it was a one time thing.
I got this idea from Teen Mom 3 (shoot me now) but I'm taking pictures of W holding a sign that says "I" then one that says "love" and another that says "my daddy" and framing it for H's new office we are currently renovating.

This is so cute! Forget the calendar. I may do this instead for the grandparents.
i totally plan to buy stuff for my parents from our kid (this year even without an outside baby), but it's more so because i'm an only child, this is their only grandkid, and i love buying stuff for my parents so it's a great excuse. and i have a few things for h from the baby, but it's really just stuff i want for the baby and i justify the excess by calling them christmas presents - a moose stuffed animal and tiny plaid flannel shirts, lol.
