I don't agree with the ending at all. I think Rick should tell the council and they should decide what to do about Carol. I don't think its fair for Rick to just toss her out into the world like that.
Why did Daryl give the booze back? He already took the guys gun.
Also, Curly.. you might want to do the spoiler tag on your initial post with the [*spoiler] and [*/spoiler] without the stars. Just hovering over your post would be dangerous for someone who hadn't watched.
OK I did it. What does that do? Make it so it doesn't show up if you hover? I'm mobile 99% of the time so I did spoiler with a bunch of blank lines, that makes it not show in the app.

Didn't like it at all. They have a Council to handle things, he should have let them decide. I think he was intimidated by her. She was a strong leader. This isn't the last we will see of her, I hope.
Was it just me or did carol send those people out to gather things so that they would die? She knew they wouldn't make it with the bad leg and hurt shoulder.

I thought this too. she was sending them out to die, and rick tried to discourage them because he knew.
Daryl is going to be furious. I don't see this going well for Rick at all. If he goes with the truth, Daryl will flip his shit and go after her and I bet a lot of people will go with him. I get that Carol probably made a mistake, but wouldn't you rather have a ruthless yet compassionate person on your team? She's right, they didn't suffer and she did think She was a stopping the virus.
If Carol runs into the governor and picks up with him I will hate it. And what was up with Michonne and Daryl all pally. That was weird.
Tyrese is cray. If his sister dies he's going to lose it.
So did the boozy guy pretend to get meds or did he never have meds to begin with? I hope he bites it soon. Dick.
See, I don't think carol has any compassion left, I think that was her trying to justify what she did. She hasn't been bitten, but the human part of her is gone. I agree with Rick. She needed to go.

rick has made so many questionable decisions when he WAS in charge, which doesn't make him anyone to be judge, jury and executioner in regards to carol.
he handcuffed merle to a roof top and left him to die he killed shane he badgered herschel to let his crew stay which resulted in herschel losing a daughter, future son in law and his home he had a chance to kill the governor and didn't
We didn't watch last night's episode yet, so I haven't read any posts. But I'm just gonna drop this photo here. I met Steven Yeun on Friday night. He was super nice and smells really good!
Jealous! We saw him out shopping once. I wanted to walk up to him and hug the shit out of him. I restrained myself.

Yep.
I hadn't thought of this, but it makes sense. But you know what? I can kind of see why. Those two hid in a bathroom for two days instead of taking out one walker...how much use would they be to them at the prison? We don't know how they answered Rick's questions but they definitely seemed like hiders, not survivors. The group needs people who can be both. I don't think Carol was thinking "send them out to die" but rather if they could prove themselves by scavenging for 2 hours and make it back alive they'd be a useful addition.
I was shocked Rick kicked her out. He's made a lot of questionable decisions that ended up with other people dead, and he judges her? For 2 minor characters that no one except Tyrese seems all that worked up over? She did it in part to save your kids, Rick. Honestly, if I was there I might have hitched a ride in Carol's car and said soyanara to the death prison.
Daryl is going to flip out. How is Rick going to explain this? That's a pretty big decision to make on his own. I think it will tear the group apart.
I don't think they are going to hook Daryl up with anyone. The writers seem more focused on the survival of this group vs. hooking people up (thank god)....now that slutty Andrea is dead.

I would actually like some sort of romance, or at the very least some romantic tension. Give me a break from all the death or gore. I can't really get into Glen and Maggie as a couple and no one else seems promising either. But I agree that the writers aren't going to focus on that, especially with Daryl. Daryl needs to stay a single sex-object. A dirty, greasy, lethal sex object.
They would make the best, most kick ass, zombie fighting baby ever.
I think the Carol thing is going to cause a huge rift at the prison. I don't think that was Rick's decision to make and he'll get some backfire for sure.
I think Carol got the better end of the deal, lol. Fuck the death prison. And it will likely splinter the group because Daryl and Michonne will go looking for her.
sorry to rehash the thread so late, but we finally watched the show.
Thoughts on why Rick left Carol out there: Tyrese said he was going to kill whoever killed... Maria? WTH was her name? And if Rick told him Carol killed her, and then Daryl has to defend her... maybe Rick was just getting her out of there to prevent all that from happening? But I agree. He should have let the 'council' or the group as a whole decide. And I think the two newbs WERE being tested by the 2-hour run. I really loved "that was a nice watch." sad face.
I loved how much Daryl was in this episode.
and @pennypie - I'mma need to know which coffee shop this was.
