update:1st time dog owner (AW PIP)

I just thought that I would update with some pictures for you guys to see. (first time adding pics in post this way, so sorry if I don't get it right away! I normally add through my phone.)





We have the cat in an area that is blocked off with the baby gate. She comes out once in a while and hisses at the dog and runs back into our bedroom (her safe spot). Tonight before I came into my room to go online she walked out to the baby gate and the dog came running, she let out a loud meow and walked away!! Yah some progress! She was rewarded with a small treat an some belly rubs. I told her next time to just ignore the dog, and she will get a bigger reward! (not that she will listen to me, lol)

We are also making sure we give the cat as much attention as we can as we don't want her to feel neglected!

Aw wook at the widdle puppy baaaaaaby! He's got sugar (aka white) feet like my beagle mix does (our neighbor's sister came up with the sugar feet term...I thought it was kind of silly at first but now I like it)
