I packed my gym bag in the dark last night, my H was already asleep. I have multiple pairs of black pants, and grabbed what I thought were my skinny leg black pants along with my very awesome new gray knee-high boots.
I didn't realize it until I was done showering and getting ready in the locker room that I'd grabbed my boot-cut pants. I attempted to pull the legs over the boots but it looked ridiculous, so I wound up shoving them into the boots. So now I've got pants-muffin-tops going on, and I feel like a complete dork today. I did, however, have to laugh when I thought to myself that I kind of needed a pants person this morning.
I will wear pants/jeans over boots too, but it didn't work with these, they kind of flare out at the top and have buckles on the sides, so when I tugged the pant legs over the boots, it looked really bad, kind of like my legs had wings or something. These are definitely skinny-leg pants only kind of boots.
I have done this! I forgot my swim suit bottoms for DD's mommy and me swim class today. I worked out before and was wearing capris so I just rolled up my pants to try to make them look like boy short bottoms. Yep! I am THAT mom.
