Are there things you do now that you didn't do before, thanks to this board? Or maybe helpful information you learned here that has become positive in your life? Let's share!
For me, I can't believe I didn't use a daily moisturizer regulary until reading the rec's here and finding one I like enough to use. I think it was GLW who recommended the Aveeno brand, but others were using it, too. I love that stuff now!
Also, that avocado pesto recipe that Apples posted several months back has been used multiple times in our house and it is now in our dinner rotation when the ingredients are on sale.
We eat that avocado pasta thing that Apples posted too...I freakin love that stuff!
I learned to stop washing my hair daily, dry shampoo, and pretty much all of my makeup tips from various boards on TN. Plus, I finally got on a decent eye cream after being informed that I looked like I was hit by a truck - even snarky comments can end up good!
A lot of stuff, mostly health and fitness related, like C25K and various websites that I would've never known existed until someone on these boards posted about it. Also new travel places I'd like to go to, thanks to the travel board and people posting their beautiful pictures.

As well as friends who actually leave their homes to do things! I hang out more in person with girls from the boards than I do most IRL friends that live relatively close.
Better one: Thanks to these boards I've gotten to meet new, intertesting people, and I've finally made it to Austin.
Woot!
I've definitely made some friends that I would not have met otherwise.
ETA: When D and I were talking about having a camping weekend/party at the lake, we included them and their H's to the figment invite list. (It will happen eventually - if it ever cools down!)

Austin was so much fun, we really need to get another G2G in the discussion at some point!
I think my sense of confidence about staying child-free by choice has built up since I joined thanks to the plethora of articles, personal stories, ways to cope with questions regarding the choice, and a group of kickass ladies that are on my non-breeding side.
I don't question myself as often about if there's something wrong with me for not wanting something that most everyone else around me does... that there IS, indeed, married life outside of parenthood and it can be just as fulfilling and logical (if not more!).
