What foundation do you use? Your skin is flawless.
Also, when doing my makeup. If I do a darker eye, I typically do a lighter lip. If I do a darker lip, I just line the top lid and use shimmer powder. Both at the same time creates the "looking older than you are" syndrome.
I am with tots and sue sue. You are so pretty and that is do much makeup. I'd skip the liner and go softer on the blush and foundation and wear a gloss instead of the lipstick. I don't think it makes you look 45 but it does age you.

I'll try not lining the bottom. It just always looks weird to me. I hate that makeup is complicated!! I just want to look normal and put together.
I have a hard time not lining the bottom, too. I think I look weird without - like I"m missing 1/2 my eye
What I've been doing is a thinner line and not as much on the bottom. I still get the "lined" look but it's not so drastic.
I have really dark lashes. Today I just swipes the angle brush with some brown eye shadow and this was the effect. Even a thin line looks like a lot on me I guess. I will try without and see how it goes.
It's just so much. take off the lower liner. You did much better with the top lid, it's much lighter; but you really really are so pretty, you don't need much at all. Your makeup is flawless; it looks like very nice quality, it's well applied. It's just that you look 'made up'.
Lol. DH makes fun of me all the time because I am always made up. I feel so weird without makeup. Lately I have really been wanting a more natural look though.

OMG! You look GREAT with no makeup! IMO you need to start getting used to your actual face instead of whatever face you draw on. I'm not saying never draw on the new face, because art is awesome and fun, but your actual face is by no means substandard.
I think your eyes would be fine with a less harsh lip. I think the lip is causing the issue.
I agree with Melinda. With dramatic eyes, you shouldn't have a competing lip. You are gorgeous. If I were going with a darker lip, I would go with a nude/neutral eye, and if you are playing up the eyes go for a nude more muted lip.

You look great without makeup! (You look awesome with it, too.)
I need to try the no liner on bottom thing too. I am not good about putting on makeup and knowing what looks good, so this wouldn't have occurred to me.

What's a good nude to go with?
MAC creme d nude is one of my favorites, but there are SO many good ones out there. I like makeupbyalli, and here she talks about nude lips with smokey dark eyes
