If you're having a hard time not lining the bottom, try just doing the waterline. It's not as harsh.
This is what I was going to say, pull your lower eyelid (is that what it's called?) down and line along the water line with a brown pencil and see how that looks. You are lovely!
I'm going to be honest. I'm pretty confused right now lol. I have been wearing a full face of makeup since the eighth grade. I'm going to tone down the blush, shadow, and liner and look for a more natural lip. I'm going to feel naked, aren't I.
I agree with Melinda. With dramatic eyes, you shouldn't have a competing lip. You are gorgeous. If I were going with a darker lip, I would go with a nude/neutral eye, and if you are playing up the eyes go for a nude more muted lip.
What's a good nude to go with?
The key is not to go too nude. You want something with a tiny bit of color. You don't want washed out. But you want something very understated with a strong eye.
This is me right now. I wear a shit ton of eye makeup and almost always a super understated lip. I have on Bite lipstick in Shiraz, but just a wash of it. Ignore my bronzer which looks like shit in this pic.

I think if you like wearing makeup, then continue to wear makeup.
I like your eyes as is, but I would tone down the blush and look for a sheer pink gloss on the lips. Like your natural lip tone, maybe 1-2 shades darker, with some shine.

I wear lots of makeup, but like I said I pick one feature to play up. If I do a bold lip, I am sure to do everything else neutral. I still wear blush, eyeshadow, and liner, but it is neutral. For example, I might do the naked basics on eyes, tarte exposed on cheeks, and a fun bright pink lip.
That being said, you look great without makeup. For some, like me make up is fun, so I won't ever give it up, and you don't have to either.

"I was thinking about getting off on demand, but it sounds like I should be glad that I didn't"
You're one of those freaks who can wear a little Bonne Bell Lipsmacker and be out the door. You do not need Estee Lauder (it's for old ladies and they test on animals--bone to pick with them!).
I don't agree with TOTs' harsh wording, but you just don't need all that makeup. If I did your face, I'd do a light base, like a natural blush like tarte *tooth sparkle*, concealer if you need it, dark liner on the top, only. Kind of a cat eye. Curl top lashes. Two coats of mascara on the top and some tarte Lipsurgence (perfect mix of gloss and lipstick). Bang. Done.
You're like crazy pretty. Don't cover it up.
I agree with all of this. You are so pretty you don't need much makeup. The eyes, the lips, the foundation and the blush is just too much. Try BB cream as a base for everyday, it is life changing.
Also, I hate not lining under my eye as much as I know I probably shouldn't, I just don't think it looks right. I just do it really sparingly only maybe a quarter way across, really close to my lash line and always with brown never black.
Lastly, do makeup for the occasion. If you were going out in the evening heavy makeup may work. I wear an obscene amount of shadow, liner, mascara when I go out with my husband. I look probably overdone but DH likes it so I do heavy eye makeup and a low cut shirt. When I do that though I always just do gloss on my lips. It balances it a little.

I wear a lot of makeup. Most days, concealer, foundation, blush, eyeshadow, brow pencil, mascara and lipstick. But everything is in very natural tones, and people sometimes tell me it looks like I wear none. I don't feel as pretty without it, but I find that the very light makeup look is less aging and more relaxed, you know?

I should add that my old full-face look is now my special occasion look, and what's funny is it feels like too much, so I pared it down, some. I save $$, now. Well, okay I buy all of the tarte palettes, because I have a problem.

Yes, you're going to feel naked. Here's the thing though- makeup is supposed to enhance your best features and hide your flaws. But your face is flawless! You don't need a heavy foundation. It is aging you. Use a tinted moisturizer or BB cream instead. And skip the eyeliner entirely. Your lashes are so dark, your eyes are perfectly defined without it.

Oh wow, I just saw the no makeup pic- you look amazing!
I think you almost look like a different (in a good way) person without it, and that is a sign you were wearing too much before. Makeup should highlight your best features, and yours was weighing you down.

Much better. Lips still too pink, but that might just be residue from the other color you had on. And I agree with papie that you probably don't need mascara on your bottom lashes.
ok! you don't need much. the point of eyeliner (so i hear) it to fill in the lash line to give the appearance of a ton of lashes. which you have. a ton of eyelashes.

Love the last pic!
My eye makeup preference is nothing on the bottom- no liner, no mascara. You still have some shadow/liner left from before, which looks fine bc its not TOO heavy, but I'd go totally bare on the bottom next time. It really makes the eyes pop more IMO.
You have to report back with your H's reaction, since you said he always comments on how you're "made up" all the time. I bet he doesn't even notice what it is, but just that you look so pretty.

you probably did that when you were younger to look older. To me, you have such a gorgeous natural look. You don't need all that makeup. It will take time to get used to and you can still go the full make up route for a date ngiht or evening occassion but girl.. you got the looks without makeup. You are a lucky woman!!!
