Coffee shop recs for downtown Portland OR?

Any coffee shops downtown besides (retch) Starbucks?  I'm on 4th and Alder--is there a good coffee shop close by to my hotel?

Barista is really close (3rd and alder/Washington), Stumptown is a few blocks further (3rd and pine).

Also, if you want to venture further away, there are a few really great ones in the Pearl District. Let me know if you're up for a walk and I'll tell you those.

Public Domain was right around the corner so I went there. It was a long wait though. Wow! Oh well. I'm digging this Portland weather. I miss it so much.
