It really bugs me when people write notes to dead relatives on their FB wall. Not like they just passed I'm gonna miss them, but the Dead Person, I miss you, you've been gone for 3 years but your love gets me through.. etc"
ETA: It's mostly because I'm pretty sure if there is a heaven, dead people aren't on FB checking out what their family's wall.
I would say about 90% of memes, e-greeting cards, and anything by George Takei irritate the crap out of me. Especially when I see the same thing reposted about 30 times during the course of a week, as it makes its way around the internet. It just seems like no one has an original thought anymore.
And the posting on a dead person's wall is also weird to me. I have given my H orders of if I die, please deactivate it, I don't want people do this.

What? There's no Facebook in heaven?!? I think it's weird, too.
I wrote about this the other day but it still holds true and I keep seeing it... I cannot STAND whenever people post pics of their kids with food on their faces. It's so gross!
I hate when people post pics of their kids on the toilet also. I don't care if it's a kid - it's still personal. One day that child is going to be an adult and they'll have their whole life documented on the internet including the first time they shit in a can.

FTR, I love George Takai and I turned my dad's fb into a memorial page. I like having his pictures there for me to flip through, and I like reading what people said about him after he passed. He was a very loved man. Mom said we'll discuss deactivating it after a year.
Hmmm...I'm sick of reading about polorized politics that are entirely opioion, and reading about how some kid took a dump for the first time. I don't care. You've now been hidden.
FTR: I'm talking about people writing on their pages notes to their dead relatives. I've seen a few memorial pages, that's different - it's clear what they're for. I've not seen any memorial pages, though. So, I don't know what people write on them.

It just gives another venue to give condolensces and share stories about the person. I wasn't being snarky, I was just sharing my experience.

For what it is worth, this makes sense to me. I should have clarified my problem. People from HS or earlier that are merely fb friends, and having no other contact with a person, pouring out their feelings about someone that they have not spoken to in 15 plus years, and how much they miss them irks me. As a way for close friends and family to share stories and memories makes sense to me. If that makes any sense.

Totally makes sense. So did Pi. There is a big difference between missing someone and AW-ing. I've see it, too, and it gets old.
