What are some of the best day spa treatments you've had? I want to hear specifics.
Has anyone had any reiki services done? I'm intrigued but also afraid I would just laugh the entire time. Is it just hippie nonsense?
REIKI ENERGY BALANCING $60/$100 ~ 30/60 MINUTES
Harmonize your body and senses through methods rooted in Asian spiritual traditions. Gentle hand placement stimulates reiki or energy flow to areas that need it the most. There is no tissue manipulation, just gentle healing touch to calm the nervous system. We will show you the proper breathing and mediation techniques that will help you fully let go and receive divine energy. You’ll emerge with renewed energy and a clear balanced mind.
And how are body scrubs? I've had massages and facials but am not familiar with body wraps and polishes.
I had one body scrub and body wrap in Kauai. It was a treat during a month of travel. It was very relaxing and my skin felt super smooth the rest of the day. That being said, I wouldn't do it again. It wasn't worth the money, Id rather have a massage.
I tend to just get massages, but I've been thinking about getting facials done too now that I'm starting to age (WAAHHHHHHHH). So I'm curious to see what others get!
I usually just get a mani/pedi, facial and a massage when I do spa days. I did have a body polish wrap thing once that was pretty good, but slightly weird.

Ooh, Que?, I loove reflexology, but I haven't had it done in forever. Followed by a pedicure sounds heavenly.
My go-to is massage and pedicure (I hate manicures because they never last). I have a guy that does some sort of massage where I'm more of an active participant (don't know the method), and while it's different because I'm doing more moving and stretching while he does his thing, it feels so good for days afterward.
I want to try a scrub sometime; they sound lovely.
*Whipped Honey and Cinnamon Body Polish with Hot Stone Massage - 90mins *Honey Heel Glaze exfoliating and moisturizing Foot Massage with Hot Stones- 60mins
I go straight to the 90 minute massage generally but I've also gotten wraps, facials, scrubs and mani/pedis.
I've never done a hot stone massage unless you count the time my H bought a kit from Barnes and Noble that we never got around to using. The stones made nice vase filler.
I don't get facials anymore because, for the price of four facials, I can get injectables. And let me tell you. The restalyn works longer and better than any scrub.
I used to get massages, until I had a facial and that's my only true love now....the place I go gives a scalp massage and foot/leg massage during the facial, it's heaven
I used to get the most amazing massages and mud treatments in Penang when I would travel there quite frequently for work. It was like 4 hours of freakin bliss. They would massage my boobs too and after the initial shock I was totally ok with it. Lol. It felt good!
