That's disgusting. It's supposed to be 102 tomorrow w/out the heat index, and I've got to coach a swim meet. I might just jump in the pool; I can totally pass for a high school kid.
I was visiting Arizona last week, and the highest I saw the car temp monitor go was 117*. It was pretty brutal. Coming back to the northeast has been welcome.

I have a black car with charcoal interior that has been baking outside since approximately 8:45 a.m. My boss (an insurance agent) just told me to go start it in like 35 minutes and leave it running, unlocked, in the parking lot. I told him I'm telling MY agent that it was his fault if it got stolen lol. (I probably won't do that but I will start it and stand in the doorway, watching it, for a few minutes.)

Yeah, know how I was complaining about the weather here? I'll stop. It's 70 degrees and sunny with great views of all the mountains. Supposed to be kind of a gloomy weekend again but I think I've decided I'll take the cooler weather
I've learned to embrace it. Love the heat. Soak up it's radiant rays and breate. *sigh* Seriously. It's easier to deal with when you accept it. I was in the 3rd tri all summer last year, part of it without AC. I learned to enjoy it. My car is a darker grey with black leather interior too. I spent a lot of time in my maternity swim suit with a kiddie pool and some sparkling water with lime. Sure my feet looked like baking bread in my sandals, but it was all good!
