Have you talked to the kid's parents? As the coach, I would expect you to speak with the parents about the kid's behavior and ask them to address the issues with him. I might also suggest that he doesn't seem to be interested in being a part of the team, if that really seems to be the case. The parents need to have the opportunity to address the problem. I kind of doubt it will do anything because the kid acts that way for a reason (whether the parents try to stop it or not), but at least you'll have taken a step to try to prevent the behavior.
