I went shopping yesterday to find something to wear to my reunion. I tried on four dress and then I found the one. I wasn't crazy about the stripes, but the cut of the dress was so flattering I had to get it. . And these boots
I'm kind of excited now. Feeling pretty always helps.
Love the dress and the shoes! From having watched way too many episodes of What Not to Wear, they have always said things will look different on your then on the hanger.
So happy it is Friday, my liver will not be as happy that it is the weekend, but oh well!
I too purchased a new shirt to wear to girls night. I didn't need one, but I wanted one.
I ordered a sweater dress from Old Navy yesterday, I went a little crazy and ordered it according to the size chart so we'll see if it fits. I am getting back on the workout 5 days a week horse so it should fit like a glove by the time the holiday parties roll around.
I am going bra shopping tomorrow, that will be fun.
This weekend will be spent trying to get ready for our vacation. I'm hoping to get a hair appointment. My hair is way too long right now. I also have to meet with the pet-sitter and do some housework and other miscellaneous stuff that just needs doing before we leave. Fun, fun.

margarita I hope you have lots of fun on your vacation!
I need a hair cut as well. I debating if I should get it cut tomorrow morning (just a trim and having some layers added in, nothing drastic that I could regret) and have it styled while I'm at it. That's not something I ever do.
I got up at 5:40 because one of my cats knocked over a whole bunch of stuff, inviting a planter with an amaryllis bulb. So fun to clean up as you're waking up.
The state review people left and I think all we have are a couple of minor fixes, none involving me & my coworker, so yay!!!
Don't go all out for the reunion, PS. Go all out because it makes you feel good. I love the dress. I eyed it until it slowly disappeared, but never pulled the trigger.

Well, he's usually in bed by 8 or so. But I actually put him in bed at 7:30, made a cup of tea, and took a warm bath before turning in myself. It was blissful!
