I'm sick. Like sinus just, ears hurt, sore throat, soooooo tired kinda sick. I took it say all last week. No running, just some light weights, walking, yoga and went to bed early every night. Yesterday I ran because I hate to waste weekend running outside. Today I feel like junk, but I'm debating 3 miles later on. Is that stupid? I should probably just rest right? I'm not training for anything, just trying to keep my base up over winter and trying to lose like 5lbs
I was in my peak of marathon training a few weeks ago. I was panicking. Would run easy, next day felt like crap. Rinse & repeat a few times. I was just sick. It lasted nearly 3 weeks. I would just rest and get this thing out of your system.
I do. I used to battle through it unless it was a stomach bug, but it takes longer to recover and the runs just suck anyway. Rest! Hope you feel better soon.
ETA: I meant to say I take rest days when I'm sick!
