I also think it's kind of funny that people call the park overpasses "hills"...considering you live and train and RACE in the mountains (especially LP!) that must have been a good chuckle
I know! Most of the time I didn't even notice them until I started passing someone who couldn't seem to handle the ever-so-slight incline!
nice work, it sounds like fun! This half is so appealing to me (dine and wine?? hello!) but the weird hours have put this race into the "not likely ever going to happen" category for me.
Am I the only one that had an awful time after the race getting past that cross walk? It literally took me an hour to get from finish line to world showcase because of it. It was so crowded and we were just stopped, my legs cramped up, people were passing out all around me from the heat and tight space. It caused such a damper on our night, I am so disappointed! I wasn't able to meet back up with my family who was at finish line because I was just not going back after I got across, the two others in my group finished after me and it took them an hour as well. By that time I was freezing and exhausted, I spent whatever cash I had on me and was ready for bed so I just left Epcot and walked back to my hotel, my husband and cousin had one drink and left the after party as well. It really ruined the celebration, I was so upset because I was so excited to enjoy a drink with my crew after our first half
