I'm getting really frustrated with this whole residency interviewing thing. I never have time for any strength or cross training and I was supposed to hit 1000 miles for the year this weekend but I had to nix my 8 mile pace on Friday because I just didn't have the energy before I flew out to NM. It's exhausting and I can't wait until it's over and it sure as shit better pay off. Gah.
F: max out C&J, then 75 toes to bar with 50 double unders for every time your hand leaves the bar S: I was supposed to do 5 rounds - 1000m, 15 burpees, 15 thrusters, 15 pull-ups. I got through three rounds in nearly 40 minutes and said "Fuck this fucking noise."
Fri (which is NOT part of the weekend!): 4 mile easy run and 1600 meter easy swim Sat: 7.64 mile trail run (w/u, c/d, 5K race, which I won) Sunday: 10.5 miles in the AM cheering on the IM swim & Bike, and 30ish min w/ my stroller in the PM cheering on the run
I'm STILL fighting exhaustion and a cold - I've had it for 2 weeks now. I slept most of the weekend. I will be attempting yoga and an easy run tonight for the first time in 2 weeks.
