OK, now I realllly want pizza for dinner, and I could probably talk H into it. Of course, I want the chanterelle prosciutto, and he doesn't like mushrooms. I have a feeling we will end up with a verde primo.

I like the verde primo but DH always wants meat meat meat.
My fave is half pesto primo and half margarita.
I absolutely love the Salumi pepperoni as a meat meat meat option, but I think I'm still too uptight to let my young toddler eat that much cured meat. Maybe we'll pick it off, give him a cheese slice, and broccoli on the side.

I love their spicy pep, but we don't give Thor cured meats other than the turkey they give at daycare.
My favorite pag pizza is Chanterelle Prosciutto Primo, Margherita (but with tomato slices and tomato sauce and then fresh basil sprinkled on top afterwards, not baked in), South Philly. Mmm.
But my husband hates Pagliacci, so we end up getting the Dragon from Zeek's a lot.
OK, continuing to threadjack, one of my closest friends works for DeLaurenti co., so she gets half off Pagliacci and Macrina goods... but she doesn't even like Pagliacci pizza! I wish I could use her discount card, LOL. Zeek's is actually really close to us, but I don't like it that much. I think they overload their pizza, and the crust isn't my type. Pagliacci's crust is perfect. I also love a place called Giannoni's, but they're a couple miles south of us and they don't deliver.
Well, if you really think the baby ate the pizza, then I guess you can go to bed knowing you win at parenting for today. Not really sure what else there is to do for poor pizza baby.
WTF is your issue? Why do you always seem to escalate everything? Yes I am the #1 mom and the best mom to ever walk the Earth. Because I definitely said that. I don't think this makes her less than or me better.
I'm late to this thread but wanted to applaud this response. I'm not sure why more people don't call @tokenhoser out when she's as condescending and rude as she usually is.

I hear Italian Family Pizza (opened last year downtown) is the best bet for what J-Stew would call "pizza" as opposed to "random stuff on soft bread", even if said random stuff is delicious. I think the owners are from NNJ.

Are you worried that the baby is just too young for the pizza and it might be dangerous? Or do you think it is judge worthy because you dont think pizza isnt healthy? IDK but lots of people feed their kids things like chicken nuggets and Mac & Cheese and I dont think pizza is worse than that. Everything in moderation.
The danger. I'm not above feeding pizza I just thought 5m is to young for safety reasons.
I just don't think a 5 month old is capable of eating enough Dominos to do actual harm. My kid is offered pizza when we eat it, and has been since he started solids, but I make it myself and didn't give him lunch meat until about 1 because of the salt. I do agree with you that pizza isn't baby food... but being as I can't see the photos, I still just don't see how a tiny baby can eat it.
I snuck my baby a FRY at CHILIs on Friday night because I FORGOT baby friendly food on DH & my 2nd "date" (with baby) night in 9mo. H ordered Fries with cheese, bacon & jalapeños as an appetizer & we both ordered salads. The fry was the best non-choking option. I made sure there was no jalapeño at least! I snuck because people stare at my baby & I had already had a judgey comment made 15min earlier about her being "freezing" by some noisy baby boomer. Good thing I didn't IG it!

A fry? You terrible mother! Just kidding.
I don't know why but food posts always get my hackles up. It is probably insecurity about what I feed my very very picky sons. I have been judged too many times to count. That is all I have to add to this. And now I want pizza.
That's because you're fighting with me, but I was never fighting with you. For serious. I feel like if I don't emoticon and gif the hell out of every post I make, it's just assumed I intend to be a condescending bitch with no sense of humour.

What's wrong with throwing one in to help communicate?
Since you're acknowledging here that you're regularly misunderstood, wouldn't that be the wise thing to do?
Now I, on the other hand, regularly use them and sometimes am accused of using them falsely. So I don't know how to fix that. But your issue seems pretty easy to fix, that is if course assuming you want to be understood.
