Does anyone have a suggestion of a pregnancy book? I've tried searching previous posts, but haven't found anything. I don't want to ask anyone IRL, because its too early to share the news.
The Mayo book is pretty good IMO, although if you subscribe to any of the "your pregnancy this week" type updates the info is fairly redundant. I also really liked the Panic Free Pregnancy, mostly because it told me I could have sushi and wine.
Not a pregnancy guide, but I also enjoyed Do Chocolate Lovers Have Sweeter Babies. Not much in the way of pregnancy info, but just a fun and thought-proviking read!
I loaned all my books to my SIL and can't ask for them back since we haven't told anyone yet. Oddly enough she returned the Baby Bargains book to me, but none of my pregnancy books.
I read the Girlfriend's Guide to Pregnancy and it was a quick read, but not informative (and I really got annoyed when she talked about "titties" and husbands "loving them" -- ugh). I wouldn't recommend that. I have the Mayo Clinic book, which is good. I'm also really enjoying Expecting Better by Emily Oster, which is an economist's perspective on pregnancy restrictions, etc.

I also like Panic-Free Pregnancy. I read WTE, but meh. I have one called The Pregnancy Bible, and it has pretty good info (it was a gift), nice layout (goes briefly into infant care and post-partum care), and nice illustrations (unlike WTE, lol). Otherwise, I just go online for info.
