Damn bunnies. They are cute, but every year they eat all my beautiful plants. I usually bring home hair from the salon when I get my hair cut and that worked for me last year (I figured this out after all my hostas were chewed down to nubs). I will be doing it again this weekend when I plant some new flowers. I'jm ready to stew the damn things.
I have two baby bunnies that are living in my fountain grass and come out every evening and decimate my plants. I can't bear to do anything to them now because they're just too damn cute, but when they become adults I guess I'll have to act.

My potted petunia flower heads have disappeared recently and I was wondering what could be doing it. Rabbits may be the answer. My pots are about 12" high, are they just hopping up into my planter and feasting away? That explains where my jalapeno plant went to as well
We tried everything at our old house to repel the bunnies and NOTHING worked. Baby powder, Liquid Fence, any sort of granules. We even lined our flowerbeds with stone/rocks and they just hopped over it (someone told me once that they dont like something about the rocks). We would fill their holes back in with dirt. They wouldn't even run away when the dog was near.

Actually, bunnies usually don't go for peppers. You probably have deer or woodchucks. I use the Liquid Fence for bunnies and Shake Away for woodchucks. We're lucky that we don't get deer.

DH hates bunnies so much that he admitted he put a poisoned peach in our yard I threatened his life if I find a dead bunny, so now he just buys egregious amounts of Liquid Fence. It works well. You just have to remember to reapply frequently and everytime you get rain.
LOL! I know, I know. Do not spray it on a windy day. I only do it when I have time to take a shower immediately afterwards because I'm afraid of it clinging to me. I really do think it works, though. I'm not home all day, but when I see bunnies in the yard the steer clear of the places I spray. I take the pungent odor as a sign of effectiveness.

DH seriously tried spraying our houseplants with that crap to keep the cat from chewing them. All he did is keep me from talking to him for a solid week. SICK.
