Does anyone have any experience with Pes Anserinus Tendinitis/Bursitis? I believe I have this - had an MRI yesterday and a PT believed it came from my sartorius muscle. The pain started about Oct 22 and I kept pushing through it running two half marathons one on Oct 26 and one on Nov 10 (PR Oct 26 of 2:00:42 and the Nov 10 was 2:03:59 but I had to stop a few times to walk). Plus a few mid distance runs. I now haven't run or done boot camp since Sunday Nov 10 but I am back at the gym doing the ellipse and the recumbant bike. I can walk well now whereas last week I was in tremendous pain. I'm icing, taking advil, was using compression and started Magnesium citrate. I feel I'm doing everything right to get better. There is still a little swelling in the one spot below my knee to the right of it and it is a little bit tender to touch. I am also wearing flats every day and no heels.
If you have had this how long did you rest for? Any other healing tips? I am signed up for a half on Dec 8 and I would love to do my local Turkey Trot and possibly a 5k this weekend.

I had PA tendinitis. I did pretty much what you are doing, but my pain was also never as bad as yours. I don't really have any tips, unfortunately. Rest is really the only thing you can do for tendinitis which is why it's so annoying. I've had good results for various types of tendinitis with celecoxib and related drugs which are OTC here, but I don't know if they're Rx in the US (and of course, it's always good to discuss new meds with a doctor!).
Because my pain wasn't too bad, I kept doing Crossfit and just adjusted some things. I can feel it every once in a while still, but I'm willing to live with that rather than taking time off. Good luck!
