tie curling ribbon around it like you'd put it on a box so ribbon is on all 4 sides.

We did mini flashlights one year, Home Depot had a multipack pretty cheap and everyone got a mini-flashlight with their gift.

They are SO handy to have around to scrape the last of the peanut butter out of the jar, as well as for other various and sundry tasks. And they'd be pretty easy to tie on.

Sur la table has great cookie cutters right now for $0.76. They have a lot of diff designs including rattles, daschunds, planes, maps, cars, etc. You could get one for people's personality or get a letter one for their name.

I would go to the dollar store or to whatever place has inexpensive things and see what they have. I have done hand blown glass ornaments I found for $1.00, if your feeling really industrious, you could do a baby footprint on a small canvas. It makes a cute ornament. Michael's has tiny canvases for cheap and I used acrylic paint. Probably only good for relatives though.
