We do, but it's only to keep the cat hair off the sheets. Well, and because it looks better.
As regards the article, I find that I'm more productive overall if I start the day out by doing at least one non-routine household chore. For example, I'll put a load of laundry in first thing, or quickly spray and wipe down the bathroom counter.
(Edited because I hit post too fast) So in that regard, I agree wholeheartedly with the idea of the article. The more productive I am first thing in the morning, the more productive I am throughout the day. It just sort-of carries over.
I barely have time for breakfast in the morning, so, no I do not make the bed every day. From the minute I wake up I'm GOGOGO! trying to get me and a 10 month old fed, dressed, and out the door on time. Haha. Plus the H is still in bed when I get up. I do water my pumpkins every morning though! Maybe I'll try it for a day or two and see what happens. I'm way more productive around the house when I get home from work in the afternoon because I don't have a kid running around getting in the way (DH picks her up from daycare most days).
I don't for a couple of reasons. One, I stay in bed until the absolute last minute and barely leave myself time to get ready before I'm out the door. Two, don't dust mites thrive in made beds? Someone please prove me wrong on this.
I've heard of the dust mites thing. But that's not why I don't. I'm just too lazy in the mornings. Trying to get up, ready and out the door for work is enough. I love when I wash the sheets & am able make the bed at that point.
Munkii, my google fu says thats kinda right, if you live in a humid area and your house is humid, the sheets will retain less moisture if not made. But I imagine if you have the ac running and the air is dry it's not as much an issue.
I have seen beds " made" with the blankets folded back on the end of the bed and the sheets showing, maybe that's a happy alternative?

My bed being made is the LAST thing I'm concerned about, especially in the morning. I never make it & neither does my DH. The only time I do is when I get in a cleaning kick & clean our room top to bottom. Then it kind of looks out of place if I don't.
I'm about 50/50 with formally making the bed. I always pull the sheets up and straighten things out (I tend to be a covers hog), but I don't always make it like I do when I change the sheets.
We go through phases. Some weeks, one of us always makes the bed. And them some weeks, it spends each day in a head of blankets and pillows. It always gets made when we have company coming over, though.
Yes, most of the time. I skip occasionally. We're much better about it now that our bed isn't stuffed into a corner. Now we can at least easily pull the sheets from both sides of the bed. I think it looks nicer and we're in a new house so we have visitors coming to check out our new place a lot more than I thought we would. I don't really like others to see our messes. DH doesn't get it...whatever. :-)
Yes, but not until after I get home from work. Lazy a$$ DH doesn't get out of bed until after I leave in the morning, and LOL at the idea he would ever make a bed.
No because I work days and DH works nights. DH is sleeping when I leave for work and he's not going to make the bed. There is someone sleeping in the bed for +14 hours a day so I don't stress over not making it.

I get up at the last.possible.second so I usually don't have time. For about 3 weeks, I was the BOMB at remembering to make the bed. Then I started waking up 30 times a night for different reasons so I don't sleep as well.
Anyhow yes but not in the way normal people do. I usually make it right before I get in bed because T likes to hog the blanket and if I don't recover what he took the night before then he will take all of it.
