There is a new Jimmy Johns near my work. They charge a $2 delivery fee. Would you still tip? Do you think they get the fee or does the fee go to the store? Not a big deal either way since it is only a few extra bucks, I was just curious.

Yes. When I delivered pizza, the fee went to the store (it covered the hourly wage of having a delivery person there. Some stores also have a company delivery vehicle, so the fee goes to gas and maintenance).
Well, because they truly are freaky fast, I didn't see these before I paid him. I did tip - because I always feel like they are looking at you with puppy dog eyes when you give them money. DH and I never agree on this kind of thing. Just like the Carside To Go at Applebees. He thinks they should be tipped, and I don't. So our compromise is that he has to go get it and then he can tip them
We always tip when food is delivered. We also generously tip when we order out and pick up ourselves. Someone has prepped our meal and has it ready for us to take home - that service is worth rewarding. I don't think it's an accident that we always have awesome service and a couple "extras" thrown in there. I haven't purchased A1 in a year, lol.

I tip delivery even with a fe because that goes to the store usually. I tip carry out too since its boxed up, and car side at Applebee's for sure.... Not only is it boxed, someone brought it out to the car!
