Because I have no clue.
DD doesn't need anything. All the major toy bases are covered (dolls, toy kitchen, duplos, magnatiles, etc). She doesn't know what she wants, even if we walk through the toy department.
We are getting her a book and a game, but I need a toy to be from Santa. Help!

Scooter! I recommend the Kick brand. The size you get depends on your kid. If they are small, the mini kick. Average or above get the bigger one (Maxi). Y-bike makes a similar scooter. They are miles above the radio flyer type in steering and balance, but far easier and more stable than a two wheel razor type.
DD is getting a range of things. She likes pink, purple, princesses, Doc McStuffins, castles, swords, and pandas. She loves her kiddie computer, coloring (crayons and marker), play dough, her kiddie tent and sleeping bag, and dress up play
bike? or tricycle? obviously I don't have a child of that age. But I am thinking something along those lines.
Have them already.
Have a scooter.
Have to mini trampoline.
Art supplies is is what I am thinking because that is the only thing I can come up with. But we already have a ton, so it isn't like we really need anymore. I have looked at all the craft kits, which she would love, but they are all too difficult for her. I have looked at target and micheals. Is there anywhere else that has a different selection than what they would have?
fwp people! Second kids are hard. The bike would be a great gift, but she has Ds's old one, etc.
Make your own art kit. Buy a plastic Rubbermaid tub and fill it with markers, crayons, stickers, glue sticks, fun foam shapes, glitter glue, etc. I'm a pre-k teacher and my art center supplies are depleted as soon as I put out new "Treasures".
My niece (will be 4 in December) is getting Sophia the First (the movie that just came out in September) for her bday from me and a "boogie board" (those LCD writing boards) for Christmas.
1. generic dolls 2. Character stuff (shirts, dresses, books, dolls/animals) 3. Trains 4. Lego and lego like stuff 5. Doll house. If we had the space I'd probably get something for her room. 6. Craft stuff 7. A hand twister -- it is like a bike but moves from small wiggles of the handle. There are also feet twister too and the plasma car works on the same basic principle. My kid loved this and she usually finds bikes too hard and gets tired easily.
I just bought my BFF's daughter one of those Glow Pets Pillow Pets for her fourth birthday- I guess she gets really excited about them when she sees them in stores.
Is she into clothes at all? My godchild who is 4 is obsessed with clothes lately. Fun Pjs, Ugg looking frilly boots, cute mittens etc. are all on her wishlist.
Is there an activity she'd like to do with you that could be a gift and you could wrap something that goes with it (bowling socks, a stuffed animal for the zoo, new swimsuit for the poll etc.)?

DD is the same age and she wants a "lightning McQueen set" but we can't find tracks for Disey Cars so she will prob end up w a hot wheels track set, and a lightning McQueen car.
We already got her a Doc Mcstuffins dr bag set and v-tech doc clipboard.
