I started listing a few LLL items there, and the first one sold. Now it says "awaiting payment"... am I supposed to send the buyer an invoice? When I purchase an item, I pay immediately when it gives me the "congrats, it's yours--now pay up" (or whatever) message. This is my first experience as a seller and I don't want the sale to go south b/c of something on my end.
If you haven't received payment, I would go ahead & send an invoice. Then it would prompt the buyer to pay. I had to do that a few times when I sold some old school vera bradley

OK thanks. I don't want to look pushy but I don't want it to be an incomplete sale either. I'll give them a few hours (it sold last night) and invoice after my run.
I think that would be a good idea. I bought a few items off ebay & sometimes the sellers would immediately send an invoice. It was helpful for me to know THEY KNEW it sold
I was just about to invoice when I got notification that she paid. I'll ship on Monday since USPS is closed now. Thanks for the insight, I'll know what to do in the future.

I have sold lots of my old clothes on eBay. They are notified that they won and most will pay based on that. I put something in my listing about paying within 48 hours. If it goes past that, I send an invoice as a reminder.
