What are you giving for your kid's teachers as gifts this holiday season. My DD is in kindergarten. She has one main teacher and 4 specials teachers. I am thinking a $25 Target GC for her main teacher and a $10 Target GC for each of the specials. Looking for some other ideas.
Are you looking for other ideas to spend less or are you looking for other ideas because you aren't sold on this particular idea? As a teacher, I think your plan sounds great!
As a teacher though, if not a gift card I prefer something for the classroom. New books, art supplies I can use with the kids, something on my wishlist of classroom items. Hell, I'll even take Kleenex and hand sanitizer.
For the specials, most people just swing by the bakery and do a group snack for those teachers at break. I don't live an area I guess where parents make a big deal out of the special teahers. I'd do something for them, but I wouldn't go all out.

We give $25 GCs to Target for main teachers and speech teachers. We don't get anything for special area teachers though the kids do make cards for them. I'd love to be able to do something for them, but we have 8 teachers to buy for already. We had to cut the list somewhere.

Last year I did 5$ target gift cards and some baked goods. I know teachers say they get sick of all the baked goods, but it make a mean chocolate sea salt caramel, and it is a small portion kind of thing, so they each get a little box with four caramels.
That got really expensive, though, with teachers, specials teacher, therapists, bus drivers, etc. so I don't know what I am going to do this year. I hate to leave out all the other teachers, as I know they don't get much, but if may have to. I can a lot, so I am thinking about giving them each a jar of applesauce or jam or something.

My DD has two preschool teachers. I got these cute holiday-themed plastic mason jars at Walmart for $5. I'm going to fill them with chocolate and a gift card, either to Starbucks or Target. And I am not going to use a punny holiday greeting a la Pinterest because they drive me nuts.
As a teacher though, if not a gift card I prefer something for the classroom. New books, art supplies I can use with the kids, something on my wishlist of classroom items.
Do you like parents to ask? I want to send DS in with a gift for the class and gift card for the teacher, but not sure if she would be annoyed with a random indoor recess item. It is kindergarten.
