I'm sorry you are dealing with this still you are amazing to have put up with it so long!
I hope you guys figure out a good solution. We used Ferber and it worked so quickly as soon as I stopped being inconsistent/giving in, sadly u guess that just confuses them. As soon as she knew there would be no more night boobs and I just stopped going incompletely (husband only) it only took about three nights to get from every 2 hours to 1-2 wakings.
Good luck and I hope it all works out and you guys get to SLEEP soon.

Okay I took the first plunge, DH purchased/downloaded the sleep easy solution book on his nook. Knowing DH he will have it finished by tomorrow afternoon. Haha.
I hope you guys find a solution that works for all. You have done an amazing job and I have NO clue how you have survived nearly two years without a restful night of sleep- but you deserve that and I hope you get one soon.

That's the book we used. We modified it even more so that it wasn't too traumatic for any of us. Lincoln went from waking every 2 hours to sleeping 6 hour stretches after 4 nights. Good luck!

Fwiw it hasn't always been this bad. She actually STTN for about a month back when she was 3-4 months old and the again around 7-8months old. It slowly got worse and worse and all went to shit around a year old. We tried out bedsharing which ended in disaster after a month. Then we switched to a toddler bed a few months ago. We are at a whole new low now though.

Good luck. I know this was a hard decision for you. Just remember to stay consistent, otherwise all of the crying was in vain. You are not a failure. Not at all.
We used Ferber with J and he is not in anyway damaged. He loves his sleep. he will lunge toward his crib, wave to us, and say bye bye as I am putting him into it.
Hopefully you all get better sleep soon. The better sleep with help Pey a lot too.
