My best friend convinced me to sign up for our city's Turkey Trot (5K), which is Thanksgiving morning. I am in the middle of Couch to 5K. So far, my workouts haven't gotten me to do a full 5K; the most I've done is 2.5ish miles (not running the whole time, obviously). For my 5K, do y'all think I should just stick with my program and just add however many intervals I need to go the distance? Or should I push myself and just see how far/long I can run? (I'm inclined not to do this, since I tend to get discouraged easily and quit the program. This is my 4th or 5th attempt at C25K!)
Obviously this is a silly question. Would love some feedback, though!

I would run/walk intervals as best I could to finish. If you feel good, run more than you walk. I started with C25K more than 2 years ago and am still running (and sometimes run/walking). Just go out and have fun at the race!
