My sister (33, so not a kid) has asked for a hula hoop for Christmas and I want to get her a decent one, but I'm not sure what to look for and which ones are best. I'm trying to read reviews and compare but the reviews seem to be all over the place. Anyone know anything about hula hoops and can point me in a direction or provide some links/info? TIA!
Great thanks. Any advice on picking one out or recommendations? I'm clueless. Also my sister is 5'3" and maybe weighs 105 so I want to make sure it's something appropriate for her
ETA: I'll take any and all advice and suggestions you have

I took one class once, so I guess I feel semi-qualified to respond. LOL
Beginners need a hoop that goes from the ground to around the belly button, maybe a little higher if they're not the skinniest (I went for near-boob level, HA!). So, if she's anywhere near the same height as you, you can probably judge with reasonable accuracy how big it should be.
Don't get a weighted one. They'll make you sore after 5-10 minutes.
I am totally a hula hooping expert because I won hula hooping at field day every year in elementary school. Granted, I don't think I've used one since then, but I think the belly button height hoop is a good rule of thumb. Where are these hula hoop classes/videos? I kind of want to try it.
