Every Weds after DS1 swim class we go out for 2nd breakfast.
Today DS2 accidentally swiped his (full) milkshake off the table (during the 1 second I took my hand off it) and all over himself and the floor. Screamed like a banshee because he was soaking wet. Nice lady brought another one, I was so embarrassed And the last time at the (same!) cafe, DS2 elbowed his babycino mug off and it smashed. Of course I offered to pay and rushed around picking up, and they are so nice and wouldn't let me, and brought him another one. AHHHHHH!!!
DS1 has never broken anything in public. I guess I thought I was immune! lol
Please tell me your cafe destruction stories to make me feel some camaraderie.

Well not a cafe but a Toys R Us story.
On Sunday we were finishing up our Chanukah shopping and we were taking a long time, like 2 hours at the store. But Ari was a trooper and we kept finding new things to entertain him. Our last stop was at the trains and he played at the train table for at least 20 minutes. He loved it. And then it was time to leave.
Cue screaming, crying, running, hitting, rolling on the floor. It was horrible and I was so embarrassed. It was also freezing outside so we couldn't get some fresh air while Dh checked out. Finally, I picked up him, held him in nursing position and them shushed so loud in his ear ala the 5's. I felt like I had a newborn again, lol. But he calmed down and forgot about it all 10 minutes later.
Viv smashed a plate at the Cheesecake Factory last time we were there.
I give you credit taking both of them out! One is enough of a beast for me right now.
We (3) make a point of going out a lot, even if it's just for coffee + muffin. DS1 is no problem as he's 4.5 and can be threatened. He loves it though and is usually on best behaviour.
DS2 is the wild card. Sometimes he will sit nicely for 15-20 mins (occupied with food & drink) so I can enjoy my coffee and other times we are out of there in 5 mins. He's still in training
What is this babycino you speak of? I have seen these in a few places and wondered...
They just use the hot (warm) milk + froth from (the production of) your adult coffee to make a kiddie drink. Usually in a little cup with choc powder on top. Should be free, but some places charge up to $3. Ridic!
They used to be free when DS1 was little 4 yrs ago, now it's getting out of hand. I know which cafes they are still free, or 50c, so we choose wisely

Mmmm babycino. Sounds adorable and delicious! But definitely not for $4.
Sorry about your crazy experience today! Reminds me of months ago we were in a store and Violet grabbed an earring pack off a display and the ENTIRE thing came tumbling over. Little packs of earrings were everywhere and I was so embarrassed!
No destruction, but this evening our waitress spilled a glass of ice water next to our table and while we were waiting for our food, my MIL let Caleb out of his high chair to walk around and he decided to start playing with and throwing the ice.
Then the bread and salads came so he was happy, but Abby was complaining because she only got half of my biscuit and had to *gasp* wait for her food to come. Then my MIL gave her half of her biscuit, which Abby proceeded to drop on the floor.
At this point, Caleb had already dropped 3 packets of butter, a fork, several bites of bread and all of his toys (those were dropped and retrieved repeatedly).
Then the screeching started. Caleb also decided he was finished before the rest of us were and began to loudly announce "All done" and try to climb out of his high chair again.
As we left, the lady who was seated near us told me my children were adorable. I think she was actually serious.

One day my children terrorized target: Spilled snacks all over the floor of an aisle Threw up in a rug of the portrait studio Called a poor nice cashier fat right to his face

Oh we've been there! We were recently at brunch and C1 decided to squeeze her plastic cup full of orange juice and it went everywhere. It was an inch away from splashing the lady behind her.

Sigh...... Kids. Lol.
GAH! Been there. I think we've finally gotten through to DS1 that it's not ok to talk about fatness to people. The worst one was (to an older lady) "MUMMY. Is that lady fat because she's been eating too much JUNK FOOD!!? Mummy? MUMMY!!!" AHHHHHH!!

Adam has gotten better too, thankfully. All you can do is just run at that point, and then explain to your child as you are driving away. Lol.
Nothing like having to drag your own kid out of the movie theater and into the car while he is screaming "let me go! I will not get in!" Because I did not allow him to play the arcade games anymore.
Then the screeching started. Caleb also decided he was finished before the rest of us were and began to loudly announce "All done" and try to climb out of his high chair again.
This is R new habit and when ignored starts screaming it loudly... Just awful.
