For anyone paid bi weekly, you know what I am talking about. Since there are 52 weeks in the year, being paid biweekly means 26 checks per year instead of 24. That means twice during the year, a month falls with a third paycheck. It is the best 2 days of the year.
Not only is it an extra check for the month, nothing is taken out other than taxes, so it is a few hundred more than my normal check.

I get my third check on Friday. I love this time of year because in a few weeks we get our unused personal days and I've only used 2 of the 5. Plus Christmas bonus!

Mine were in March and August this year. The March one helped fund Lyla's birthday party and the August one took us to the zoo! My next one will be 1/31/2014!
I got mine in August and next one will be January. All deductions are taken out on my extra checks.
That stinks. All of our deductions for health insurance, pension, and union dues are based on twice per month, so none of those are taken from the third pay.
Yes, both H and I are on the same pay schedule! I already put a lot of it in savings on the 2nd check because I have us on a little schedule of payments.

We had 3 pay checks last month but they weren't extra. They fell just right in the days that both the beginning of the month check and the end of the month check both had to go towards paying rent. Lame. We do get an extra check right after Christmas though. We also had one back in august. Woohoo.
