Normally we would be, but my ILs are in town. They are Jewish and don't like that we celebrate Christmas (even though we are atheists) so I think we will leave it till next weekend.
I will probably put it up today even though I don't want to. I get sick of putting it up/decorating and then undecorating/taking down by myself every year.
We might get to it on Sunday. It depends on what else we get done cleaning and decorating, and what is going on with my dad. The tree usually is the last of our decorations to go up.

I would love to buy ours today but the nursery from where I've purchased it the last seven years isn't getting them delivered until Sunday or Monday. Sunday I will get out all the non-tree decorations and also unpack all the ornaments so that as soon as the tree is delivered I can start decorating. We are leaving for our end of year travel earlier than most years so I'm sad I will hardly get to enjoy the tree this year.
Yep. H has had a bee in his bonnet to decorate the damn house since Sunday. I held him off because I hosted Bible study on Monday, and my mom stayed with us on Tuesday and Wednesday nights. I didn't want the residual mess after we got the decorations half set up!

Technically not this weekend, since it went up yesterday.
That's part of our Thanksgiving tradition...we eat, then DH and the kids haul up the boxes from downstairs while I clean up in peace and I join them to decorate the tree when I'm done.

Yes, we are and I'm so excited to decorate tonight. I got the kids each a little ornament when I was shopping this morning. DS loves trains and MIL got us a train set last year so we are putting it around the tree.

Not doing a tree this year but I put up the rest of my decorations, Christmas carols are playing and scented candles are lit. I've already watched The Family Stone and Elf is up next.

I would love to...I'm so ready. However, DS has a December birthday so we never put up the tree until after his birthday. We want to keep those 2 events as distinct and separate as possible for him.
