I'd like to return the tunic I bought online, and I'm NEVER near Target but I'll be by one at 4:30ish today. Would I be a fool to try to run in to return something? We wouldn't need to park -- my husband would stay in the car, and I wouldn't try to buy anything.

I think if you're never near a target then it makes sense to do it now - even if you end up waiting a little longer than normal it will still be less time than if you have to make a special trip to do it.
Actually returns are slow for stores today, especially Target where you don't return at a sales register.
At this point people are mostly buying gifts for others* and therefore returns won't really be heavy until after Christmas
*I apparently didn't get this message as I've done a lot of shopping for me!! 3 sweaters, a pair of jeans, and a new food processor for me. Zero for anyone else.

I'd think the worst of it will be at the registers, not Customer Service. Plus, if you're not normally near there, IMO it's worth a little wait to not have to make a special trip.
