Thanks!! I'm doing well! My back pain was OUTRAGEOUS, to the point where it couldn't catch my breath bc they were so on top of each other, so I decided to get the epi instead of, you know, pass out. I regret nothing! I've been contracting since 7:30 this morning, and there was just no way to deal with that kind of intensity anymore. When the anesthesiologist came in, he was like, "this is the world's longest contraction EVER...holy hell!" Lol.
Now I feel better than I have in months. My whole body feels warm and soft. I approve!
Last time I was checked, I was at 5.5ish cm and 100%. My water still hasn't broken, so we'll see how things go from here on out!
@bunnybean, I haven't seen anything from you today. How are you and little miss???
Thanks for the exciting update! Baby dash is being born shortly, and everything will be changed forever!

Haha. That's how I was with my contractions. I was gung ho about med-free birth, but the contractions were so close together and lasting so long that by the time the anesthesiologist showed up if he had to put the epi in with his teeth, I would have been okay with it.

Can't wait to see baby ash!
Me too! I really thought I could handle it, but my labor happened so quickly and intensely, I wanted whatever it took to end it.
