I am bored and I'm watching Netflix, have been watching it all day.
I told my grandma today about the pregnancy, she is so excited. (My grandma is 82 years old) She then told me that this baby will be the 71st baby to be brought onto this earth because her and my grandpa got married. My grandparents had 9 children who all went on to having 2-4 children each. And then there's the great grandchildren and the great grandchildren. That is a lot of people on one side of the family.
Dh and his dad are ripping apart our basements for the suite that we are trying to get done. I tried to help but I get too tired too fast.
I got my birthday present from H a week early - a roomba! Yayyyyy. We are awful about sweeping and vacuuming so I hope this helps us keep it cleaned up! I've been using it like, all day. First, in the living room before we brought the tree up, and second in the dining room, then again in the living room after we lost a bunch of fake pine needles all over the floor. Lol. It's awesome!
I'm jealous of your roomba!! I asked DH for one for Xmas.
@abbycobb feel better! I'm getting some sort of head cold. Our weather can't make up it's mind in Florida and my body doesn't like it.
I am over heartburn! It's really not cool anymore and I still have 15 long weeks to go.

We are driving around searching local walmarts for a specific toy that a friend if mine is looking for... This will be walmart #7 - not for us, this is only #2 for us.
We've checked online and they says it's in stock but none of the other 6 have had them.. Fingers crossed we find it here.
On thanksgiving my MIL announced to me and everyone at the table that she thought I was "beginning to round out" and then proceeded to make cupping motions around her chin and face to make her point. Awesome. Thank you.

Really?? I probably would have cried at the table.
@callmefia- I feel the same way, and I don't even have a belly yet. Both my SIL and my MIL are trying to claim rights to touching my belly. I've already told them that I don't like people touching me.
We went to BRU today and my husband was so bored and uninterested. I wanted to show him the car seat and stroller that I researched. He said "I trust that you'll pick out the best stuff." I decided my mom will accompany me when it comes time to register. When is that anyways? I'm due in April.
In the meantime, my husband and his dad are starting to build the closet inserts for the baby's room. That is what my husband is most stoked about-using power tools and putting in flooring!

Yeah I'm pretty sure my MIL had told her not to do it or something because she hasn't tried for awhile. I was more pissed about the statement of she was doing it and she said "it's MY granddaughter!" Grrrrr. She is usually sweet but I've picked up on some manipulation lately too and it's really rubbing me wrong.
She often plays sweet too, then I hear her and MIL bitching about people at church all the time, which just makes me cringe. Last time we saw her she made a comment about needing to know the name because she could DIE before the baby is born. We truly just haven't decided on a name, it's not like we are being secretive. We've told them several names we like, just haven't decided.
She he kept bringing up the pastor, I think she wants to drop hints about our kid getting christened. Over.my.dead.body. I can't wait for that to come up!
MIL is already sad that I haven't announced our pregnancy on Facebook yet because she wants to change her status to be about how she can't wait for HER grandchild to get here. :/ I told her we haven't told all my family yet and until then it stays off Facebook. I finished telling everyone today, but I'm going to tell MIL I couldn't get a hold of one of my aunts and tell her when I do I will put it on Facebook.

My DH is the opposite - didn't mind looking at baby stuff but did not want to do any manual labor lol

DH is smoking a pork shoulder right now, YUMMMMMM!!!!! As soon as it's done smoking we're going to head out to get a Christmas tree. I'm excited! Last year when we bought our tree it was 80* out.. Today it's overcast and somewhat cool (although the high is 78).
I just read that a train derailed near where I grew up. I've taken that train and route hundreds of times! So crazy. It was headed to grand central and detailed headed into the Bronx.
Our dining room & kitchen (which are open to the living room) need some decorations so I think I may go to Home Depot to check out the Christmas decorations they have on sale.
Is it weird I'm nervous to drive the new car? Because I am and feel like a weirdo because of it
I was a little nervous to drive my (new to me) car because it was SO different than my last 3 cars.
I've driven 2 door coupes with manual transmission for the last 10years- my current car is a 4dr Mazda 6, automatic, with a 4cyl. It was an adjustment from the 350Z I traded in. So much slower, no get up & go. I was nervous for a few weeks until I got used to it.
I met an old co-worker for brunch. Now I am just bumming around the house doing some cleaning & ordering x-mas gifts. DH's b-day is 12/11 and no clue what to get him!!

Did your doctor start your ML tomorrow?
What does your H like? I got DH a pretty bottle of whiskey & a cup for about $40 at Costco the other day.
Yes. I am thinking about getting him pjs and slippers from llbean - he lost a lot of weight recently and none of his clothes fit him. Also, good to bum around in during his time off from work to spend with the baby His family is getting him his big gift - all the parts to build his own pc, so we agreed not to do anything too big for his b-day.

I start my new job TOMORROW! I'm really excited. H is going to make me dinner, and said he might get our tree, too - we'll see how the second part works out, lol. He's great about cooking, so no worries there.
Doing Fresh20 this week, too, so I feel pretty on top of things for now, yay! After being a SAHW for a little over a year, I've gotten out of so many of my routines that I'm excited to get back into them, lol. Yeah, I'm a Susie Homemaker at heart - but not 24/7.
No food sounds good. None. At all. Eating and drinking have always been a comfort to me, and fun, so I feel a bit out of sorts about this change (but have lost a bit of weight, so not all bad, I suppose - though I bet that'll change 2nd & 3rd tri, lol). Sleeping, however, hasn't yet been taken from me, lol.
And, M21 blood draw is Wednesday. I'm praying all is well this time.
