Has anyone ever made an ornament wreath?

I've seen different ways, but which is easiest/cheapest/prettiest?

Yes, that was me

It was VERY easy!

I used a foam ring from Michaels (18 inches?) Covered it with white fabric and then wrapped it with red ribbon to use as a base.

The ornaments I got in varying sizes from the dollar store.

I just used a hot glue gun and glued them on in random places, making sure that each ball was glued to both the ring and the surrounding ornaments.

The entire process took about 1.5 hours.

I should also add: keep in mind the wreath hanger! The way I glued the balls on the only way I could get the hanger on was to tilt it so the bow isn't in the centre. I figured its kind of artistic that way, but it wasn't intentional. I might actually three ribbon though it and hang it on the door with one of those sticky hooks instead so I can center the bow.
