Oh, I am a master wrapper. Coordinating, but not too matchy matchy. I do some ribbon and bows, but I like to decorate it with other stuff too. A few years ago, I put chinese yoyos on every package for my family. It was cute, cheap, and a lot of fun.
I LOVE WRAPPING! I wrap all of ours and all of MILs (which is close to 100). I don't do bows, too much work. I coordinate paper - each person gets the same paper, and each persons is different. Easy to tell apart in a family of 12 when we do our Christmas.
I'm terrible at it. My H can wrap two for every one I do, and they look ten times better. I love Christmas shopping, though and he doesn't, so we are a good team.
My husband makes all of the gift tags from us (or for me!). It's my favorite part of every christmas. They are freaking adorable and horribly creative. I keep them all. I couldn't tell you what gifts he got me, but I can tell which tag is from which year.

I enjoy wrapping gifts. I think they look good and I always add bows. When I was a teen my aunt would pay me to wrap her kids gifts. I would stay with her that night and it was a lot of fun.
I try hard. I always use more paper than I need, so they look bulky on the ends! I also make sure my paper compliments each other. I hope to start making tags next year, but I will see how organized I am. I am too cheap to spend money on bows.
I love wrapping, but haven't had time the last few yrs to really get into the real ribbons, etc. I'm excited bc this year I can! I may actually wrap everthing at my parent's house. My mom practically has a gift wrapping room in the basement with everything fancy that you can think of.
A sampling of some of DH's tags from over the years. The first one is from the year he got me a digital picture frame. He actually put a movie version of the photo on the frame, so it actually snowed.
I am a pro wrapper. I have worked on too many Christmas movies over the years which needed millions of presents PERFECTLY wrapped.
I do themes usually. This year is probably going to be plain brown paper with twine and toppings. Toppings being pinecones, cinnamon sticks, dried oranges ect. They are going to smell good too!
I am a good wrapper. I spent a lot of time helping out the gift wrappers when we still did that. I got pretty good. At home, though, I only wrap and slap a tag on it. I don't mess with the bows. Ain't nobody got time for that.

Target has a lot of stuff in that theme this year, it looks so pretty!
I love wrapping. I always get nice paper in coordinating color themes...this year they are kind of sage green, brown, and red. All the ribbons are brown or red. I'm a big ribbon snob. I usually wait until I have most of my gifts ad then do an epic wrapping session while watching Love, Actually.

I am okay until I get those fucking odd shaped gifts. And I somehow seem to buy an abundance of those. But at least they are in coordinating paper and ribbons.
I'm just ok. But...we were at my nephew's 3rd birthday party yesterday and he had no trouble opening my not-so-perfectly wrapped present for him. His parents had to help him open many of the beautiful gifts with pretty ribbon and non-crooked tape. So at least my wrapping is good for being ripped off by children without help?
