My sister and I are exchanging food gifts this year. We have everything we really need and all love food, so we decided to go this route. We have a budget of $75 (not including shipping). I know there was a thread about food last year, but I can't find it. I don't have anything in mind except for Palmetto Cheese pimento cheese (it is only like $6) that she cannot get where she lives. I am open to any and all ideas. thanks!!!
-infused oils and vinegars (this store is near me, but you can also order online) -Penzey's spices -Omaha steaks -if she's a baker, you can get some vanilla beans and a bottle of vodka for her so that she can start making her own vanilla extract.
Nueske's has fantastic bacon, and other stuff like ham, liverwurst, and sausages. You can schedule it for any delivery day you'd like: www.nueskes.com/
Sign up for their email list and also look on retailmenot.com, because quite often they run deals where you get a free pound of bacon or sausages with any purchase. It doesn't look like they're running that deal right now, but I bet they will in the coming weeks, so if you choose this company then I'd personally wait a little while to order to see if you get a free gift.
More cheese Honey Sea salt caramels Apple butters or pumpkin butter Special almond or peanut butters- Justin's makes a good dark chocolate almond and the peanut butter company makes flavors like white chocolate or maple Maple syrup Waffle and pancake mixes Bacon or prosciutto Spiced nuts Ice cream toppings or syrups Teas or coffees Baked goods Wine or beer Candy
We sent my fil Omaha steaks in the past and the subsequent telemarketing calls (from Omaha Nebraska nonetheless) were obnoxious enough for me to never order from there again. My fav food items are Harry and David pears (lame but so good). Stonewall kitchen has a lot of great stuff
She doesn't live in the US and you're gifting her some local products? or she just doesn't live in your area?
She lives in the US - not in my area.
ok, I asked because if she wasn't living in the US I thought you wanted to send her some typical American products...
I'd personally love to receive coffee, chocolate, fancy peanut butter (I love PB!), butter cookies. Or maybe, even if it's not strictly food, you could gift her some nice cooking utensils? or cookbooks?

I love the spices idea. Penzey's spices are incredible.
Penzey's or Spice House Stonewall Kitchen King Arthur Flour French Broad Chocolates Fran's Chocolates - the caramels are really good Williams-Sonoma has some fun holiday food items - their hot chocolate and pepermint bark are especially good
For something different check out www.chocolatepizza.com/ The peanut butter wings are my fav, but everything I've ever tried was great and it is something most people haven't tried.
