Last year i set the goal to do 12 races in 2013....Thanksgiving turkey trot was my final one. It was an expensive year but it kept me motivated and in training for the most part, with a few PRs along the way!
*these two months I registered for races but june i ended up out of town, but ran the same mileage and oct was canceled due to gov shutdown but i ran the same mileage that day so i count both!
i be typing from me phone. typos and grammer dont count.
I had a similar goal, I wanted to run one race a month, so I'm not quite there. I've already run 20 races, somebody needs to stop me. Jan - 5K Feb - 5K Mar - 10M, 5K April - 10M, 10K, 13.1 May - 2 5ks June - 2 5Ks July - 8K August - 5K Sept - 2 5ks, 10M Oct - 13.1, 5K Nov - 13.1, 5K Dec - 5K

Congrats!
I just counted, and I ran 11 races this year. They weren't even close to being spread out throughout the year though; they were almost all in the spring and fall.
Great job! That's a really fun goal and I'm so happy you were able to accomplish that! Any ideas for goals for 2014?
I want to do the April 10 miler in under two hours again (i did 1:55 this year). I have the Princess half in Feb but not making that a PR goal race....i might do Philly 1/2 again.
I like running but don't lovvvveee it. I need to focus on some strength training too so i hope to be able to work out a good weekly sked not dedicated to so much running. I toy with the idea of a full but my heart really isn't in it.

What a great idea! Maybe I'll do that for 2014 . Just because I have to give up longer distances while TTC doesn't mean I need to stop running, and shorter races are so much more fun to train for ;-). Maybe I'll kick it off early with a reindeer run or Santa hustle
