2. How did your workouts go last week? Anything you want AW?
All of my workouts went as planned. I even got an extra mile before my race on Thanksgiving by running to the start. Big AW (for me) - I ran 74.1 miles last month. That's my highest monthly mileage when not actually training for anything, but only 1 mile from highest mileage ever!
3. How are you feeling? Any injuries etc? My butt is a little sore, so I probably need to focus a bit more on stretching.
creamsiclechica get in here and post! I'm calling you out because I know you won't get mad at me.
1. What' is your workout plan for this week? Run tomorrow, Wednesday and both days this weekend. Try to up my mileage to 3.75 -4 miles on at least one run (I currently do between 3-3.5 on average)
2. How did your workouts go last week? Anything you want AW? 5K whoop!! 30:57. I'm pretty fucking proud of myself
It's my fastest pace ever
3. How are you feeling? Any injuries etc? Feeling good!
plan - gym 4 days, and at least 10,000 steps per day on fitbit. Today i went even though I could only spend a little over 30 minutes because of meetings, better than nothing. I did 20 on the elliptical and then I did some quick deadlifts with a 35lb kettle bell and step ups with a pair of 10lb dumbells and some quick rolling. I have been using the short step for these which is kind of embarrassing but the big one makes my knees hurt.
last week- not great. I only got to the gym twice and then at the weekend I was so lazy neither day I got 10,000 steps. It was raining yesterday or I'd have taken ozzy and matilda for a walk in the afternoon. There were two days I had 15,000+ steps though.
it's bumming me out that its dark at like 430 now.
I feel ok, my foot is on and off bugging me. Usually as soon as I give it a good roll with the tennis ball and stretch/roll my calves and shins it feels better. But I get lazy and don't do the rolling until it's hurting. I suspect I have a neuroma.
Other than that I feel good. The usual aches and such but nothing major.
1) I just joined a gym! So I definitely want to get a good strength training routine going. I'm reading New Rules of Lifting 2) I'm pleased that I felt pretty good running 5 miles. It's definitely making me think more about a half next year. I worked out on my lunch today and ran over the weekend. 3) Feeling pretty good. I hope I will be nice and sore though soon
1. What is your workout plan for this week? I want to run 3 (maybe 4) days this week.
2. How did your workouts go last week? Anything you want AW? Last week went as I planned. Ran 4 days and got 29 miles in.
3. How are you feeling? Any injuries etc? I feel like shit. I've got an ear infection so I haven't run since Saturday. I'm hoping to get a run in tomorrow morning.
