We went to Cancun last August for our honeymoon/1st anniversary trip. It was amazing! I get so sad when I look at the pictures because we can't afford to go back!

Awwww, I'm sorry emo. If it makes you feel better, the Alaska trip in 2008 was the last one we did that wasn't 25% driving in the car to destination, 25% visiting with parents/ILs, and 50% doing work for parents/ILs.

Eventually, I'd like to go somewhere again (even just to Branson -- whoo). But H's stupid coworkers use all their vacation time around holidays and he gets stuck there working through holiday weeks. Somehow, one of them is taking off this next week, has a morning off when I needed him off for "appointments" and then is off for another 12 days at the end of the month into August (and this is the second or third time this year she has done it).
He seems to be the only one who actually knows how to run their systems so that's good job security but damn, can't a girl get a vacation!?
Our once in a lifetime two week honeymoon to Fiji five years ago. We stayed at 3 different resorts in each of the main island groups and did a ton of activities (SCUBA x3, underwater cave, whitewater rafting, kayaking, village visit x2, snorkeling in the Blue Lagoon, horseback riding, hiking to waterfalls, private beach for the day, etc.). I have way too many pictures to show...like thousands...but here are a few:
Most of my vacations involve going to California to visit family and, usually, those are among some of my favorite times. However, my all-time favorite vacation was this one:
Our best couple friends, the husband and I went to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina for New Year's one year (our rental car had a Florida license plate, hence, the shoe picture). It was the perfect mix of sight seeing and relaxing (we spent one night seeing Juno at the movie theater) with some really great friends. I tried to find a picture of us at this old plantation but it must not be on this computer.
Second to Myrtle Beach was our after wedding, extended reception cruise to Mexico with 40 of our closest friends and family. This is how I spent most meals:
(And now I am really confused because I felt like I had all of my vacation photos on this computer and clearly I don't.)
I don't know how to PIP on proboards but H and I went to the Bahamas on a cruise in April. It was great. Also, I'm impressed that you braved Alaska in Febuary. H and I are going next May for our 5th anniversary and I am scared of the temps then.
