Stomach bug while pregnant

Any advice? Avery threw up all Friday night and Saturday so I knew my time was coming. I've thrown up 4 times in the past 1.5 hours. Any advice? I feel terrible.

Keep as hydrated as possible and if it lasts more than 24 hrs, I'd call my OB. Ugh.hope that you feel better soon.

Hydrate, hydrate, hydrate. And if it comes out of both ends, invest in the nicest toilet paper you can afford.

Water, water, water! Dry toast and anything you might be able to keep down. If you feel any kind of stomach tightening/contraction or have any sign of dehydration go in to get fluids. I had a stomach bug when I was about 22 weeks with Caleb and was dehydrated after only throwing up a few times.

Like PPs said, stay hydrated! I had it when I was 18 weeks and I was sick all day. By the next morning, I was feeling so much better. I hope it's just a one day thing for you.

Unfortunately, I had a stomach virus in the 1st tri. It was pure hell. I ended up needing IV fluids. If you can't keep fluids down I would call your OB. Feel better!

This for me with M's pregnancy. I had to go get fluids too.

How long did you give it? I can't even keep down water but its only been 3 hours. Should I just call in the morning if I'm still like this?

I got it in the evening and then I was up every 20 minutes throughout the night vomiting. I didn't want to call in the MOTN so I waited until morning and called and they told me to come in. I felt sooo much better after the fluids.

I got the flu at 38 weeks with Holden, and I had to go get fluids. I went because I felt ridiculously weak.

I got one in the first tri as well but I could keep liquid down and it only lasted one day where I would vomit up every thing I ate.

I feel like its best to eat nothing at all, though of course of you can't keep down water then you aren't trying food give it a day and then if you still can't keep liquid down go in for sure, dehydration + pregnancy is bad.

I hope it is short lived for you!
