Nike DC half, anyone get in?

I just got my email that I did not. All for the best, though, because my little sis was going to run it with me an forgot to sign up for the lottery!

This was going to be my first half. Now thinking about the one mid-March...

I love Cherry Blossom, it is one of my favorite races.  Mr. GT also registered for RNR DC full today, I don't want to add up the race fees we are potentially paying this month.  We usually do small $20 races.

Yep! It'll be my 6th RNR DC/national half!

I did not. I'm trying to decide whether I want to look for an awesome spring half to replace it or go for my first full in the spring instead...

I didn't get in either.  My sister and I were hoping to run it together (she got in last year), but no dice. In all honesty, it's probably better for my bank account. I'm still determined to run a half in 2014 and will probably try for a local one.

I did not get in. I am sad - but trying to get over it, I already have a full spring, but that race was really good for me this year and I wanted a repeat performance.

If you want to do the half, I will totally do it with you. And the Wines Not Whines clan. It's honestly the best half I've run out of the 8 that I've done. The crowd support is incredible, the scenery is awesome, and you get pretty supreme bragging rights for finishing it.

Oops, there's my secret out of the bag, back to back halfs for me at the end of April to level up in the half fanatics group

You know Blue Ridge is the day before the Nike half?

DH is still considering whether he wants to do it. I think he's a little scared... lol. Not that I blame him, because I would be, too. Do you know if it sells out?
