This shouldn't be that hard. Low of 32 the night before, high of 49 the day of. Looks like we're clear of rain for now but cloudy. I'm thinking crops and a lighter weight long sleeve with ears covered, but I haven't run in temps this cold in a while. If it were mid 40s or higher I'd do a tank but I think that might be too cold?
I think this sounds OK, but I'd probably wear a tank under the long sleeve. I strip my top layers quickly, and there is a solid chance a long sleeve would wind up around my waist half way through.
Also, WTF with the weather?! We're going to be in the 80s this weekend.
I agree with you outfit choice. I would do crops, a single thin layered long sleeve top, and throw away dollar store gloves. Head covering could be tricky. I would be cold at the start but in the low/mid-40s I would not want my ears covered. Maybe a throwaway headband?

Yeah it's supposed to hit 80 today. There's apparently a massive front coming through Thursday/Friday, and the race location is a little further inland so the high there Saturday is supposed to be like 35. It's crazy.

I'm for sure wearing a headband - I actually do if it's below like 65 because I get these piercing headaches if my ears get too cold. Need to look into throwaway gloves though, or maybe I can just put mine in my pockets - my crops are amazingly pocketed.

Which crops do you have? I'm always looks for pairs with pockets - they are hard to find sometimes!
boston340 - it's the LLL Can't Stop crop. I actually bought them for Chicago and took them back and bought them again, but the pockets are awesome. I can carry my phone and plenty of gels or whatever.
ETA - they are kind of longer crops. They hit me well below the calf and I'm fairly tall.

Are you doing RunGirl? Don't forget the breeze from the north and coming off the lake and the course is shady.
I'm thinking along those lines as well. Crops, long sleeve top, throw away gloves. I'll use a BondiBand to cover my ears since they are thinner than a regular headband and easy to shove in a pocket if it gets too warm.

I'm actually doing BCS in College Station, so it will probably be a little colder but less breezy. BondiBand is what I meant by headband - I guess those are kind of different.
