I'm sitting in a salon chair with dye in my hair. I'm going against better judgment and going red! Yowza!
Ohhhh and I've been emailing with both our realtor and our bank and I think we are going to make an offer on the dream house/list our current house. Yowza x 1000000
My step-mother is seriously on my shitlist. A YEAR ago, she decided that she couldn't live in our hometown anymore because her family (specifically her son's family) refused to let them visit her grand kids. So they sold their mobile home they just bought and fixed up and moved to Arizona.
Today, I got an email saying she's thinking of moving back to WI, specifically near us...because "I feel so isolated, I miss the people I love." and yet their obstacle is my dad thinks they can't afford another move. YOU THINK!? Jesus!
They can't. She is now cleared to work after her back surgery and my dad is 68 and retired. He's done part time work after retirement but this woman has drained their savings, I swear!
The more I think about it, the more pissed I get at both of them.
Every year the fire department in our town has a firetruck with SANTA on it and they drive around the neighborhoods. All the kids come outside and freak the fuck out. I can HEAR HIM and I'm so excited. He doesn't come to our neighborhood until Friday and it'll be before Henry's bedtime so he'll get to see SANTAAAAA!
I'm pricing out 1 Direction tickets for SD2 for Christmas. I think they'll be expensive, it might be her only gift if we get it but I don't think she'll care because she'll pee her pants if she gets 1D tickets.
This is cracking me up. My dog kept bringing me a toy to play with and I was ignoring him. He actually HUFFED at me and went to pout in his crate. He wouldn't even look me in the eye.
Is it normal to lose your appetite at 9 months pg? Nothing has sounded good for about a week now... I have to force myself to drink 2 glasses of milk, eat 1 high protein meal & a piece of fruit each day.
I have finished decorating the house for Christmas and I love it! It's so nice to have the house lit by Christmas lights & candles
I think so. I'm the same way right now. But I think mine has disappeared because I'm worried about getting heartburn.

After months of EI and therapy, DS is FINALLY WALKING and I haven't stopped beaming about it for 2 weeks! He just turned 17 months and is walking everywhere now. I feel like he'll be getting his diploma at high school graduation and I'll be like "Look at him WALK!"

Oh and we got this lamp for the nursery and it's tiny, like maybe 6 in tall. I wish pictures worked on the app so you all could see how small it is...it's made for a good laugh.

H gets home about an hour before me and lets the dog out to play. I let her in when I get home. This is the second day in a row I have let her in COVERED in shit. I don't know if it's her shit, or something else's shit. So for the second day in a row I got to wrangle a shit-covered weimaraner into the bathtub, while trying to not to throw up all over myself and her.
A Red Robin opened up in our city so we went there tonight (I had been to others but not in years). Overall it was a little disappointing. The waitress had told me that all that came on the regular cheeseburger was lettuce, tomato and cheese. I got it and it had pickle relish, onions and pickles on it. I didn't want to wait for another, so I ate it but it was just meh. It got really soggy and messy to eat. H ordered a different burger that had less stuff than mine, and he got a little tinfoil wrap around his, which I wish I would've had to make it easier to eat.
These are all FWPs, I know. I just hate looking forward to a meal and then it's so-so.

Every year, my H's fire dept has Santa arrive at the firehouse on the truck, and all the firefighters' kids are waiting in the bay. They go absolutely bonkers when Santa drives in, & then they get to sit on his lap and all that jazz. I love it because DS loves it, plus we don't have to do a mall Santa or or anything else. I wonder if they drive around neighborhoods after-that's a great idea!

Ours stays up in his firetruck but they do the sirens and he says "HO HO HO!!! MEERRRRRRY CHRISTMAS!" into a megaphone. Rudolph and Frosty are with him. I grew up here and when I was a kid I would go INSANE. We would hear the sirens and go "omigod it's SANTAAAA!" All the neighborhood kids would run out in their pjs and chase the truck down the street. It sucked when there was a fire the first week of Dec. There wasn't internet, so we didn't know the schedule and we'd all be outside waiting and then be bummed out when he didn't come.
Tell her NOW that you don't like it, and have her do something to fix it... low lights or SOMETHING. Don't leave there hating it.
I told her it wasn't what I expected and she seemed to agree. We agreed I would give it a few days. I'm getting in the shower to scrub scrub scrub. Lol.
My son won't sleep unless we are holding him. I'm tired!!
Weird question but have you tried a rock n play?
He has a napper that is very similar, but as soon as I sat him down, he'd fuss. But actually, I rocked him and put him in his crib, and he is now sleeping.

Haha, our town does this too. And the town next to ours (where we used to live)! I'd never heard of this before I moved out here. The kids go NUTS when that fire truck comes around. CANDY CANES!!!! SANTA!!!! FIRE FIGHTERS!!!!!!!!!!!
Our town had its annual holiday block party last night - they block off a major street and have a big thing with roasted marshmallows, lighting a tree, a petting zoo, etc. Of course, Santa arrives on the fire truck. I love this town.

It's so frustrating when hair doesn't turn out like you plan! I hope it washes out to a better color. If not, you could always go darker (which I voted for anyway!).

I actually love Red Robin. I usually get the Banzai Burger. I am a horribly messy eater, so I have them cut it in half and wrap each half separately. Cuts down on the mess. As far as the lacking quality, the best I can say is to give it some time. The Red Robin closest to me is pretty good, but the one by my parents is pretty bad. It's just luck of the draw.
