If you're giving treats as gifts

What are you doing for packaging?  I have baskets and crinkle paper, but I'm looking for things to put the actual treats in to go in the baskets.  I did little chinese take out boxes a few years ago, but was wondering if there's anything you like better.

Depending on what you're making, mason jars can look pretty sometimes.

I used cellophane bags last year. PITA. I just use ziploc bags in a holiday tin. Klassy. I might get chocolate boxes this year for the truffles I'm making

Wilton makes little boxes.  I got my boxes at Michael's (make sure to use coupons).  The Container Store has good stuff too, and they have free shipping this week.

For smaller things like the cookie exchanges, I'm making boxes like this.

Joann's and Michaels have holiday boxes and tins that aren't very expensive and are pretty cute. I usually use those. This year I'm making gingerbread loaves, so I bought some fancy disposable loaf pans off Amazon and cellophane to wrap them up.

Mason jars are a super cute idea. I do love the idea of takeout boxes too. Mason jars are oddly charming though.

There are a lot of really cute things you can do with jars, too. Even a swatch of fabric between the lid and the ring.
